IKCA is an NGO (non-profit organization) so they aren’t a business and they really depend on donations to do what they do. Speaking of what IKCA does, they do all sorts of things like mental health, practical assistance, and financial aid. Their support means a lot for the patient and their family to help them not feel uncertain or isolated. They also provide craft kits to keep their patients happy and this makes sure they won’t feel bored when they're going through treatment and have to stay at the hospital for a long time. IKCA also has many other fundraising events such as golf, paddle boarding, marathons and much more. You should really check them out! Although the funds could be used for any activity, my desire is to contribute towards music therapy sessions that they offer to help their patients to deal with anxiety in a musical way. Music therapy helps with breathing, normalizing blood pressure, heart rate and mood, which is essential when children go through many oncology treatments that can physically and mentally affect them. This also provides another outlet for their creativity.
